Give an hour. Hold a mom.

You do not need to write a check to make a difference here. You need a few hours and something you already know how to do. Your time is the gift we run on.

What it is

Your hours are a lifeline.

We are a lean organization with a big mission. That means the skills you already have do real work here, immediately, without a long training program in between.

A volunteer at a circle frees a mom to focus on herself for an hour, maybe the only hour that month that belongs to her. A volunteer behind the scenes keeps the newsletters going out and the events running. A wellness professional leading one session gives a room full of moms tools they will use that night.

There is no minimum commitment and no wrong amount of time. Tell us what you have and we will find the place it fits.

  • No minimum commitment, ever
  • Use a skill you already have
  • Remote and in-person roles both exist
  • Companies and teams are welcome
How it works

Three ways to help.

Pick the one that sounds like you. If none of them do, tell us anyway.

At a circle

Welcome moms, help set up, or watch the little ones so a mom can focus on herself for an hour. Sometimes the gift is a warm face and a listening ear.

Behind the scenes

Lend your skills with social media, newsletters, data, event planning, or fundraising. Steady hands behind the scenes keep every program running.

Lead a session

Counselors, wellness pros, and coaches: lead a workshop or a few minutes of calm at a circle. Your gift gives moms real tools.

Why it matters

What your time actually does.

Every program we run is free to the moms we serve. Volunteers are a large part of how that stays true.

It keeps programs free

Hours donated are costs we do not carry, which means more of every dollar reaches a mom.

It reaches more moms

More hands means more circles, more workshops, and more room for the moms still waiting.

It changes her week

One volunteer at one circle can change how a mom feels for the rest of the month.

Good questions

Before you reach out.

How much time do I need to give?

As much or as little as you have. One volunteer at one circle can change a mom's whole week. Tell us what you have and we will find the right fit.

Do I need experience with special needs families?

No. Many roles need a warm, reliable person and nothing more. For roles that do need specific training or credentials, we will say so up front.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes. Social media, newsletters, data, and fundraising support can all be done from anywhere.

Is there any screening?

Some roles involve being around children or sitting in on confidential circles. We will walk you through what that specific role requires before you start.

Can my company volunteer as a team?

Yes, and we would love that. Team volunteer days are part of how we work with company partners. See our partner page, or just reach out.

I am a licensed professional. Can I help that way?

Yes. Counselors, wellness pros, and coaches can lead a workshop or a short session at a circle, donated or paid. Tell us what you do.

What if I would rather give items or space?

Our ways to give page has the honest list of what we need most right now, from self-care items to a room for a circle.
